Sunset House Sardinia News - Spring in Sardinia? Why not?
Spring, for Sardinians, is a kind of door to the beach — an official one, at least. There are years when we go to the beach (to sunbathe and swim, not just to walk or fish!) from the last days of February, but March, well… March is the month when many of us start enjoying the warmth of spring.

Temperatures often stay above 20°C, even though in Italian we say, “Marzo pazzerello, anche col sole prendi l’ombrello” (“Crazy March: even when the sun shines, take an umbrella”). Still, we can definitely say that the weather is generally warm and pleasant.
Our beaches are still perfectly empty — maybe a bit cold, especially the water — but warm when the sun shines, and we can finally take off our T-shirts and enjoy all that beauty on our skin. It is always recommended to put on some sunscreen, though, as we need to get used to the sun again after winter, and, as you know, the sun can always be a bit dangerous.
Spring, then, is a door… mostly to summer! Our favourite season is literally NEXT!
