HOW TO GET HERE

From Cagliari (by car – 1 hour)
Follow the Strada Statale 130 towards Iglesias. After the exit for Musei – Domusnovas, take the Domusnovas–Villamassargia–Carbonia exit. Follow the road until the roundabout, then turn right towards Carbonia. Continue straight until you reach Portoscuso. At the second roundabout, you will see some flags and a petrol station on the left. Take the first exit to the right. Continue to the next intersection and turn left. At the next intersection, turn right. Go straight, keeping the pine forest on your right. After the pine forest, on the right-hand side, you will find the entrance to our village.

From Cagliari (public transport – about 2 hours)
Buy your ticket at the station before boarding. Take the train to Carbonia. At Carbonia station, buy a bus ticket to Portoscuso. Take the bus to Portoscuso and get off at either the pinewood stop or Portopaglietto stop. Then walk, keeping the pine forest on your right. After the pine forest, still on your right, you’ll find the entrance to our village.

From Porto Torres (by car – 3 hours)
Take SS 131 towards Cagliari. At the Samassi exit, follow the signs for Vallermosa and SS 130. In Vallermosa, continue towards Iglesias along SS 130. After the exit for Musei – Domusnovas, take the Domusnovas–Villamassargia–Carbonia exit. Follow the road until the roundabout, then turn right towards Carbonia. Continue straight until you reach Portoscuso. At the second roundabout, you will see some flags and a petrol station on the left. Take the first exit. Continue to the next intersection and turn left. From Olbia or Golfo Aranci (by car – 3.5 hours)
Head towards Cagliari, taking SS 128 bis. After the exit for Ittireddu–Mores, take the exit towards Cagliari and join SS 131. At the Samassi exit, follow the signs for Vallermosa and SS 130. In Vallermosa, continue towards Iglesias along SS 130. After the exit for Musei – Domusnovas, take the Domusnovas–Villamassargia–Carbonia exit. Follow the road until the roundabout, then turn right towards Carbonia. Continue straight until you reach Portoscuso. At the second roundabout, you will see some flags and a petrol station on the left. Take the first exit. Continue to the next intersection and turn left. At the next intersection, turn right. F.A.Q.

Is the beach within walking distance?
Yes, Portopaglietto beach is 600 metres from the village and can be reached on foot.

Do I need to book access to the beach?
No.

Is the beach paid access?
No, the beach is free.

Is there a restaurant nearby?
Yes, right on the beach.

Are there supermarkets and grocery shops nearby?
Yes. At the entrance to Portoscuso, at the roundabout, you’ll find two supermarkets on the right: Eurospin and Conad.

Can I bring pets?
No.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the house, with the remaining balance to be paid one week before arrival.

Can I have a barbecue on the terrace?
No.

Are there quiet hours?
Yes, from 23:00 to 07:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00.

How do I check in?
Simply call the phone number that will be provided to you a few days before arrival. You will be given access to the village and accompanied directly to Sunset House.

What time is check-in?
The house will be ready from 16:00. If you arrive earlier, please inform us in advance to check availability.

What time is check-out?
Check-out is required by 10:00. For late check-out requests, please contact us to check availability.

What should I bring with me?
A beach towel, a swimming cap for the pool, swimsuit, and sunscreen.

Is there mobile coverage?
Generally yes, but it depends on the provider. For some operators, you may need to move a few metres to get a stable signal. Wi-Fi is perfectly stable throughout the house, terrace, and garden.

How many guests can I bring?
There is a double bed, a single bed, and a 1.5-size sofa bed. The ideal maximum is four guests.

Can I bring children?
Absolutely yes. The pool has a dedicated children’s area, there’s a playground in the village, the area is safe, and the beach is child-friendly.

What should I do if something breaks?
Call the numbers listed on the information sheet posted on the fridge.

Is access to the pool free?
Yes, during opening hours (10:00 – 20:00).

Is the pool heated?
No.

Is there a night guard?
Yes.

Can I access the village’s common areas?
Yes.

Where can I park?
Parking is directly in front of your house. If exceptionally all spaces are occupied, you can park in the nearest lot.
